Our Ultra Silver T is the lightest, technical long-sleeved T-shirt in the world.
It’s amazingly soft and unbelievably comfortable to wear.
But, unlike all the other lightweights, it’s also extremely durable. The secret is the density of the fabric. It’s a high-specification polyester that’s been knitted with an incredible 66 gauge construction. So, as long as you don’t snag it on a branch or fence, it’ll last for ages.
This dense knit has another advantage – for such a fine fabric, the appearance is modestly opaque. Which means you can wear it on its own, as a T-shirt, without looking like you’re heading out to a Hi-NRG disco all-nighter.
We’ve also incorporated Polygiene™ into the blend – this is a clever, patented anti-microbial technology which employs ionic silver to inhibit the growth of micro-organisms and the associated build-up of odour. Basically, you can wear it for ages without needing to wash it.
And, when you do decide to freshen it up, you’ll find it easy to wash – in the machine or by hand. Just rinse it through with travel wash and hang it up to dry. It’ll be ready for duty the next morning – with absolutely no ironing required.
Needless to say, the Ultra Silver T ticks all the ‘performance boxes’ you’d expect from a technical base layer. It’s treated with our functional Dynamic Moisture Control™ finish, so it’s incredibly high wicking and dries in a flash. The shoulder seams are displaced to minimise any rubbing and it’s designed in a neat, technical, versatile style.
It’s perfect for trekking, biking, walking and other highly active uses but, because of its understated appearance, it’ll also give good service as everyday underwear – there’s no go-faster stripes or fancy chevrons to show through your shirt.
