Offering complete waterproof protection in conjunction with a relaxed, understated, unfussy appearance, our Cloudcover Jacket is the technical walking jacket that you can wear everyday.
It’s cut slightly longer than many waterproof jackets – and that’s very deliberate. It’s just long enough to cover a suit jacket. Which makes a nice change. Because, frustratingly, most waterproof jackets are just too short – and expose the bottom of your jacket to the elements.
The fabric takes advantage of our advanced Barricade™ technology in a two-layer construction with a soft polyester face fabric and a comfortable mesh liner. So it’s 100% waterproof and, with our Active Diffusion™ technology, phenomenally breathable – even in challenging, humid conditions. The outer fabric has been treated with our Durable Water Repellency™ finish to ensure that it doesn’t ‘wet out’ and impair breathability.
The Cloudcover Jacket features a full-protection mountain hood which adjusts with our clever One-Pull™ adjustment system and rolls away extremely neatly into the collar of the jacket when it’s not required.
There are two zipped hand pockets on the outside together with a large zipped chest pocket. It’s large enough to take an OS map and doubles as a Packpocket™ into which the whole jacket packs down.
The jacket is lined in a soft, comfortable and highly breathable mesh and features a large lower storage pockets – it’s the perfect place for stashing (and drying off) a hat or gloves.
The full-length front zip is protected a two storm flaps and features a soft, comfortable throat protector.
The waist, hem and cuffs are all totally adjustable allowing you to fine-tune the fit and tailor the ventilation to suit the conditions.
