Like so much Rohan clothing, our Gritstone Trousers will, one day, become an old favourite in your wardrobe. Tried, tested, used and abused - but still going strong.

What’s different about our Gritstone Trousers, though, is that they’ll look like an old favourite too - from the very first day you wear them.

That’s because they’re made from our new Outwash™ fabric. It’s a high performance technical fabric with a natural, weathered appearance. It’s a highly functional canvas polyamide with a pigment printed face which is laundered in the manufacturing process to give an attractive, faded look. What’s really clever, though, is that this process doesn’t adversely affect the durability of the trousers. They’ll last for ages – just as you’d expect.

The fabric is highly wind-resistant but extremely breathable and offers total protection from the harmful effects of UV radiation.

The trousers feature two hand pockets. One contains a zipped security pocket; the other contains our Tri-ring attachment point. Made to a bespoke design from an ultra-lightweight alloy, it’s the perfect place to attach keys or other small accessories.

There are two rear patch pockets and a semi-concealed, zipped rear pocket. The trousers feature a slightly pre-bent construction for improved freedom of movement and day-long comfort.

The trousers are easy to wash – either by hand or the machine – and will comfortably dry overnight, with little or no ironing required.
