Earlier this year, our team at Rohan Clothing embarked on an inspiring journey to the Veneto region of Italy, where the rich landscapes served as the perfect backdrop for our Autumn/Winter 2024 (AW24) collection. The decision to shoot in April, amidst the budding spring, posed unique challenges, but our vision was clear: to capture the essence of our collection in settings that felt as authentic as the clothing itself, at the foot of the Dolomites. 

Preparation: The Road to Italy

Preparing for a shoot of this magnitude is no small feat. It begins long before the cameras start rolling, with months of meticulous planning and coordination. From curating the perfect outfits to scouting the ideal locations, every detail was considered to ensure that our AW24 collection was showcased in its truest form. Shooting an Autumn/Winter collection in April, however, meant that we had to find locations that could still offer the wintry conditions that the collection embodies. This was no easy task, but with the help of our trusted fixer, Fixer Italy (linked), and a well-executed reccy trip, we were able to pinpoint locations that provided the cold, crisp environments we needed.


Our team, a dedicated group of professionals, worked tirelessly across departments to bring this vision to life. This collaborative effort included our talented photographers, production assistant, stylist, and two models, all guided by our head of brand. Even those who couldn’t be on-site played a crucial role from our head office, offering support and ensuring that every piece of the puzzle came together seamlessly.

Locations: Capturing the Essence of Italy

After extensive research and planning, we chose a series of stunning locations across Italy that perfectly highlighted the versatility of our AW24 collection.

 

These locations included: 
Brent De L’art 
Val Morel 
Vittorio Veneto 
Rifugio Pranolz 
Monte Garda 
Serravalle 
Molineto Della Croda 

 

Dolomites Mountains Landscape

Each offered something unique—a perfect blend of rugged natural beauty and the timeless charm of the Italian countryside. 
We also stayed at Rifugio Pranolz (Pranolz Shelter), situated in Trichiana in the province of Belluno. The staff were particularly accommodating to our shoot and even let us photograph in and around the hotel. We were given authentic Italian food throughout our stay and would highly recommend Rifugio Pranolz if you’re in the area!

The Experience: Bringing the AW24 Collection to Life

Shooting in these breathtaking environments was an experience. The snow-capped peaks and frosty mornings provided the ideal backdrop for our range, emphasizing the durability and adaptability of our clothing. Whether we were capturing the early morning light on a mountainside or the serene stillness of a snowy forest, each location brought out the best in our collection, underscoring its ability to perform in real-world conditions.

The AW24 Collection: Versatility Meets Adventure

Our AW24 range is all about versatility—pieces that are as comfortable in the harshest winter conditions as they are stylish in everyday wear. This shoot was about more than just showcasing clothing; it was about telling a story, one that connects with the heart of what Rohan Clothing stands for: adventure, resilience, and the beauty of the natural world.
