When heading out for high activity days in the hills, this waterproof and windproof insulated jacket is the perfect choice to ensure all round protection from the elements. Combining a 2-layer Barricade Standard waterproof membrane with quilted Insuloft insulation in a versatile and sleek design.
With 3 secure pockets featuring Aquaguard zips, there’s plenty of room to safely store your belongings away from the wind and rain. All 3 pockets are lined with a soft brushed microfleece for added comfort and warmth when your hands get cold. The external chest pocket has been included so that you don’t need to unzip the jacket to access your belongings.
The fixed hood features a 3-point adjustment, giving you complete control over the fit of the hood. Pull it tight when the weather is unrelenting or opt for a more relaxed fit when you need minimal protection. Elasticated cuffs on the arms provide a secure fit and help to seal in warmth. This jacket also features an adjustable hemline, allowing you to really batten down the hatches when the weather takes a turn.
Designed with a slightly shorter length to allow you to move easily during activities like scrambling or fast paced trekking, this jacket is the ideal layer for winter adventures. The large central zip has been designed to be easy to use, even while wearing gloves. For added comfort, brushed microfleece has been strategically placed around the neck and on the inside of the chin guard.

Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

2-Layer Barricade
The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.
The waterproof fabric of the garment has two layers. The water-repellent outer fabric and the PU hydrophilic membrane are bonded together. In addition, a loose lining protects the membrane from the inside.
