Fully waterproof, windproof and breathable, due to the 2-Layer Barricade Standard fabric construction. The 2-Layer construction by definition means that the waterproof fabric has two layers, a water repellent outer and a PU hydrophilic membrane that is bonded together, as well as taped seams to prevent water from leaking through. In addition, a loose taffeta mesh lining protects the membrane providing extra breathability and comfort.
Treated with a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish that boosts the fabric's water repellency, forcing water droplets to 'bead up' and run off the outside of the material, maintaining its effectiveness and making it a perfect addition to your wardrobe.
Fabric: 100% Polyester with 100% Polyester part lining and 100% Polyamide

In retrospect the spec does not mention such a pocket but I did not check that at the time - I did not think I would need to check such a standard feature when I was considering purchase.Reply:Dear Jeff, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Our Design team are always keen to receive all customer feedback and suggestions and please be assured your feedback has been passed on to them. All points raised are then genuinely discussed in more detail and where we receive several similar requests that would make manufacturing viable, this is then looked into further. Our Design team have also made modifications to garments in the range as a direct response to customer feedback. For your reference as they work several seasons in advance, it can take a little time for amendments or new styles and colours to be introduced. Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

2-Layer Barricade
The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.
The waterproof fabric of the garment has two layers. The water-repellent outer fabric and the PU hydrophilic membrane are bonded together. In addition, a loose lining protects the membrane from the inside.
