Ready to protect you from freezing temperatures and persistent downpours, our Men’s Newport Jacket is fully lined with recycled, synthetic Insuloft insulation, for warmth, high loft and durability. With sheet insulation throughout, this cosy outer layer ensures optimal warmth at the same time as all-day comfort and freedom of movement.
Our 2-Layer Barricade Standard waterproof technology offers breathable, waterproof and windproof protection, while a Durable Water Repellency finish causes water to bead up and roll off the surface of our Newport Jacket. So you can focus solely on enjoying a city break in a place you’ve never been to before, and never let cold, stormy weather stop you from getting outside.
The matte, textured herringbone look of this cosy waterproof adds a touch of smart style to the durable outer fabric, while practical Aquaguard™ zips on the two external hand pockets and a third internal zipped security pocket keep your valuables safe and close at hand. Grosgrain pullers on the external pockets mean you can use them easily without needing to remove your gloves, and the tri-ring in the inner pocket is the perfect place to securely attach your keys.
Subtle, thoughtful features have been added to trap warmth on the coldest days, like the soft, internal collar and cuffs and the brushed lining inside the two hand pockets. The insulated, fixed hood has a single point adjustment so you can tighten the fit around your face for further protection against an icy breeze, and if you are caught in the pouring rain, a hang loop at the back of the neck means you can easily hang your Newport Jacket up to dry as soon as you get home.

Durable Water Repellency
Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

2-Layer Barricade
The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.
The waterproof fabric of the garment has two layers. The water-repellent outer fabric and the PU hydrophilic membrane are bonded together. In addition, a loose lining protects the membrane from the inside.

Insuloft
Insuloft is an advanced synthetic wadding that offers a better warmth-to-weight ratio than polyester fleece and better performance when wet than conventional down. It’s durable, compressible, lightweight, easy to wash and fast drying – it’s the perfect choice for cold-weather protection.
