    This incredibly lightweight waterproof jacket is built for fast-paced outdoor adventures such as hikes and treks. Constructed with our 3-Layer Barricade Standard technology, the Aira Jacket provides complete waterproof and windproof protection, making it the ideal choice when venturing out for days in the hills and fells during spring and summer. Equipped with a PFC-Free Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish, to ensure that you stay dry when caught in downpours.

    Featuring a fully adjustable hood collar with peak wire and 3-point adjustment hood to keep you shielded, the jacket delivers excellent coverage and protection in exposed landscapes. The flat-knit water resistant AquaGuard central zip ensure you stay protected from wind and rain when exploring in exposed landscapes. Equipped with 2 secure zipped AquaGuard pockets with a mesh backing to keep your essentials safe while offering additional ventilation during high-intensity activities.

    Designed for functionality, the Aira jacket includes adjustable hem and cuffs, allowing for a customizable fit and added protection from the elements. Its lightweight, stashable design makes it easy to carry when not in use, while the tri-ring in the left pocket adds a useful extra detail for securing items.

Lightweight - Weight 250 Grams

Packable - Pack Size 600ml

Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.

Fast Drying - Drying Time 5 hours

All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

  • Durable Water Repellency

    Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

  • 3-Layer Barricade

    The Barricade standard gives you reassurance of a high level of waterproof protection. All of our waterproofs must meet our Barricade Standard to be ten times the British standard for waterproofing.

    The water-repellent outer fabric, the PU hydrophilic membrane and a protective liner are bonded together to form a single fabric. As a result, these jackets are lightweight whilst maintaining great durability.

  • Secure Pockets

    Losing possessions when you’re close to home is frustrating, but losing your car keys, passport, phone or wallet while you’re travelling can really spoil your adventure. That’s why we put lots of thought into developing safer pockets – deeper, zipped and hidden.
