    The Fjell Vapour Jacket has been designed with the hills and fells in mind, Large zipped pockets in the chest and waist give you the space to carry your valuables and essential kit with you; these have been thoughtfully designed so that you are able to access these pockets whilst wearing a rucksack.

    Engineered panels allow for unrestricted movement when walking, four-way stretch helps you move comfortably and Durable Water Repellency protects you from unexpected summer showers. Paired with technical jersey panels with FreshWay technology this jacket really is a must for those more challenging hikes.

    FreshWay technology has been incorporated into this garment, this mean that tiny traces of silver are distributed evenly throughout the fibres of the jacket. Silver is a highly effective antimicrobial agent which safely inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria and fungi. The use of FreshWay can also increase the lifetime of the garment due to the reduction of bacteria build which results in less washing. 

    A funnel collar lined with jersey will protect the back of your neck, and also naturally wick away moisture. Partly elastic cuffs keep the jacket secure around your wrists and easily accessible zipper pullers. Pair the Fjell Jacket with the Vapour T and Vista Trousers for a great technical outfit.

Low pack size is a benefit whether you’re packing for a day’s walking or for the trip of a lifetime. We continually scrutinise fabric specification and garment construction to minimise the packed size of our clothing. The actual pack size is tested and listed.

Fast Drying - Drying Time 2 hours

All Rohan clothing is designed to be very fast drying – as much a benefit for unexpected downpours as anything else. It’s easy to wash and often needs no ironing. Almost all garments will dry overnight, meaning you can take less with you. We test every item and list its drying time.

  • Durable Water Repellency

    Our DWR finish is an advanced treatment which dramatically increases the water repellency of our fabrics. On its own, it offers a useful level of shower resistance; used in conjunction with our Barricade technology, it reduces the tendency of the face fabric to wet out and maximizes breathability.

  • Anti Odour Silver

    Garments treated with our FreshWay; Anti Odour Silver technology benefit from the natural antimicrobial properties of silver. Tiny traces of silver, distributed evenly throughout the garment, inhibit the growth of bacteria reducing mould and odour. This treatment is permanent – it will never wash or wear out.
